1. Purpose of the Event
Recovery to Discovery is a supportive workshop for individuals navigating heartbreak. The aim is to offer tools, shared experiences, and practical strategies to help you move forward in a safe and respectful space.
Important:
This workshop is not a substitute for professional therapy, counselling, or medical advice.
It is not specifically designed for survivors of narcissistic abuse or domestic abuse. However, if such topics arise, we can signpost you to appropriate specialist support services.
2. Booking & Payment
All bookings are non-refundable.
Your place is secured only once payment has been received in full.
Places are non-transferable unless agreed with the organiser in writing.
3. Event Schedule & Venue Access
Start time: 11:00am sharp
Venue open from: 10:30am for arrival and refreshments
End time: As stated in your booking confirmation
Parking: Free on-site parking is available. Please park considerately as spaces are limited.
Accessibility: If you have any accessibility requirements, please contact us in advance so we can do our best to accommodate you.
Refreshments: Tea, coffee, and use of a kitchen (with fridge) will be available. Lunch is not provided — there are cafés nearby if you wish to purchase food.
4. Ground Rules – Creating a Safe & Respectful Space
To ensure a supportive environment for everyone:
Confidentiality: What is shared in the room stays in the room.
Respect: Listen without judgement and respect different experiences and perspectives.
Equal Voice: Allow everyone the opportunity to speak. Avoid interrupting or dominating the discussion.
Self-care: You are free to take a break at any time if you feel overwhelmed.
No Advice-Giving Without Consent: You may share your own experience, but please avoid giving unsolicited personal advice to others.
Boundaries: This is not a space for personal confrontation or pursuing relationships with other attendees during or after the event in ways that could cause discomfort.

The organisers, facilitators, and venue accept no responsibility for any emotional distress, loss, injury, or damage arising from attendance at this workshop.
By attending, you acknowledge that you are participating voluntarily and that any actions or decisions you take following the workshop are your own responsibility.
